The Inclusion Leaders Network (Incleaders) celebrated its 1st anniversary with a reception at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence of US Embassy The Hague, hosted by Chargé d’Affaires Shawn Crowley.
Incleaders was co-founded in March 2016 by Mpanzu Bamenga, Ahmed Larouz, Kamran Ullah and Mei Ling Liem as a (local) spin-off of The German Marshall Fund of the United States’ annual “Transatlantic Inclusion Leaders Network” (TILN) in Brussels. It aims to promote inclusive leadership by bringing together young (transatlantic) leaders from diverse backgrounds and providing them with the necessary tools to explore and develop their leadership skills.
Before cutting the cake together with the International Visitors and Leadership Program (IVLP) & the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMFus) alumni Mpanzu Bamenga and Ahmed Larouz, Mr. Crowley highlighted that Incleaders exemplifies some of the best results we can wish for through our continued investment in the various exchange programs which the U.S. State Department supports worldwide. It provides an excellent example of sharing knowledge gained through exchanges and paying it forward.
